Power
Product Manager & Product Designer · 2023–2024
Mobile Application · Tehran

Power was a startup mobile application where I worked across product strategy, research, UX, visual design, and development. My role was to help shape the product from the early idea through to implementation.
The Problem
Through conversations with coaches and observing their everyday needs, I found that managing information, tracking progress, and supporting clients could become time-consuming and difficult. Coaches needed a simpler way to organise their work while keeping the experience clear and useful for their clients.

User Persona
Based on my research and observations, I created a user persona to represent the target audience of Power. This helped me understand users' needs, goals, and challenges when managing their energy usage, allowing me to design features that make the experience simpler, clearer, and more user-friendly.

Mind Map
I created a mind map to organise the key ideas for the Power application, connecting user needs, pain points, and potential features. This helped me explore different solutions and define the main direction of the app.

User Journey
I mapped out the user journey to understand how coaches interact with the Power application, identify potential challenges, and create a smoother, more intuitive experience that meets their needs.

Features & Functionality
I documented the key features and functionalities of the Power application in a detailed file for software engineers. This helped communicate the design requirements, explain how each feature should work, and ensure a clear understanding of the product before development.

Brand Personality
I defined the brand personality based on the ENTJ personality type, focusing on leadership, confidence, and strength. These insights guided the visual identity and logo concept, inspiring the use of a lion as a symbol of power, authority, and determination.

Wireframes
I created wireframes to define the app’s structure, layout, and user flow before moving into visual design. This helped me organise content, prioritise key features, and ensure a clear and intuitive experience for coaches.

UI Design
I defined the brand personality based on the ENTJ personality type, focusing on leadership, confidence, and strength. These insights guided the visual identity and logo concept, inspiring the use of a lion as a symbol of power, authority, and determination.

My Role
I worked as both Product Manager and Product Designer, contributing across the full product lifecycle, My responsibilities included:
- Market and user research
- Identifying user needs and product opportunities
- Defining product vision and strategy
- Planning the product roadmap
- Developing user journeys and flows
- Creating wireframes and prototypes
- Designing the product interface
- Developing the product name and visual identity
- Collaborating with developers throughout implementation
- Supporting and managing the development process
From Concept to Product
Once the product direction was established, I translated the concept into a user experience by mapping key user journeys, creating wireframes and prototypes, and refining the interface. I also developed the product's name and visual identity to reflect its positioning and target audience while keeping the experience clear and approachable. Throughout implementation, I collaborated closely with the development team to bring the designs to life and maintain alignment between product, design, and development.
Outcome
Power gave me the opportunity to work across the complete product design process, from research and opportunity discovery to strategy, UX, UI, and implementation.
The project strengthened my ability to think beyond individual screens and approach design as part of a larger product system.
